Once had a shot we need it was something with milk pouring the wrong way around and we sent it out to an effects house who quoted us a ridiculous amount for this "effect" siting that they would have to build a complex rig - we ended up shooing it in house and either flipped the camera (just to make sure the lighting looked correct).

Sometimes keeping it simple is too complicated
