| No, but Ae kind of figured it out for me. I copied all my layers, started a new project, created new comp, and pasted. I got an error message - a lie - that a 2K layer size had changed to 360 x 240 and I needed to re-analyze the 3D Camera Tracker.
So, I deleted the 3D Camera Tracker effects on the layer it pinpointed, and presto-change-o, I can now edit my text again.
Thanks for the suggestion, though!
Jim
Do you have an expression on the source text of that layer?
That could cause the issue.

I’ve been working on this project for a while. Client wants changes. I can’t edit my Text layers. I double-click the layer, and it highlights and immediately unhighlights. I click on it to try to insert the cursor and I see the cursor and my keyframes for a fraction of a second, then it immediately unhighlights and returns the text layer to a unactivated state. Is there a secret lock for Comps? My layers are not locked. I tried deleting prefs, importing my Project into a new Project, and pasting all my layers into a fresh comp, and no luck.
