I'm working at a live event offsite and i'm trying to work on AE projects with missing footage (footage was on a local server that's back at the office). I'm trying to relink the footage to a new onsite server but every time i click my computer locks up. Simply loading the project takes 20 minutes (this is for a 20mb project). Is there a solution to this? I need AE to stop checking these broken links or checking the cache or doing whatever it's doing so that I can work.
