I=E2=80=99m comping t= ogether 3D renders, 32 bit float.  While I want to work with the extend= ed range of the renders, there=E2=80=99s the odd pixel here and there which i= s SUPER hot, which can lead to artefacts.  Just wondering if anyone has= a technique for dealing with this sort of thing?
I=E2= =80=99m currently just using the HDR highlight compressor but I don=E2=80=99= t really like clipping some of the other highlight info that=E2=80=99s alrea= dy there, even when set to a lower % the hot pixels are still just way too h= ot compared to everything else.  Anyone have a better plugin or alterna= tive approach to taming HDR highlights?
