We've probably engaged in this discussion 3-4 times over the last couple years or so on the subject of upgrading AE and all. I think it just depends on the quantity and type of plugins. Not sure there is any extreme advantage or disadvantage with OSs. I just have so many plugins that I can't quite remember them all and usually when least expected, I need them and realize, well that one isn't installed, etc. Element 3D and Mettle products among many seem to always have something peculiar when moving over to a new install. Licensing stuff, etc. I used them both a lot. I was hoping the update would alleviate things but I'll consider the reinstall. That is by far, one of THE worst experiences for me wh= en it comes to major updates to AE.=C2=A0 It takes hours and often times do= n't realize what is not there until something comes up.
