Bill,

Just using AE standard lights and now I feel like a dummy.  This happened a couple other times and I didn't realize the problem, still uncertain of the exact problem but this turned out to be a layering thing.  The thing that throws me off is that the layers were nothing more than other lights.

So, for example, I'm duplicating light 1, self names to light 2, etc, up to 6.  The copies appearing from bottom to top in the stack.  Somehow, the two lower lights were the ones that turned off, yet if I pulled them up on top of light 6, the damn things worked.

Not sure I understand this one AT all.  Literally nothing in between the lights, no obvious solid or other obstruction.

Are you using a plugin or are standard lights not appearing?

Hello all,

I've been working this project, just down to some final tweaks on lighting.  I'm using 6 spotlights and basically getting one set up, then duplicating it 6 times and moving the location around a circle, spread out.

Simple enough BUT, I copied light 1, creating light 2.  All good.  Then once I created lights 3-6, lights 1 an 2 not longer light up.

Is there some copy tip I'm missing?

Thanks,
Eric
