Will do, Ross, thanks!

In this system I’m running cc19 on, GPU = 2x 1070ti, RAM = 48gb. I’ve set AE to reserve 6gb for other applications. Do you have a RAM allocation ratio recommendation?

Please log feedback/cases if you find any tech issues with new Mocha AE:

I've been running the plug-in for a while and finding it very stable, however if you do not have a supported GPU card, you might want to check the file>mocha prefs> GPU. Another thing is to make sure AE prefs are not set to use "all" your system's resources. ;)

Just opened Mocha AE a few minutes ago to have a look around, and wow, what a huge improvement so far! Let’s see if I can make it leak!

I just wanted to add +1, I just upgraded to the full Mocha Pro (all plugins + standalone) and have been using it inside Blackmagic Fusion and others. The improvements I've seen so far are very significant. I have however heard anecdotes about the AE plugin currently having some stability / memory leak issues. I can't report since I haven't experienced first hand.

The most significant thing is huge speed improvements and much better handling of tracks that head offscreen. That alone is worth it!

I’ve installed on one machine so far, the install is a bit less painful than the last couple updates, custom workspaces seem to moving over nicely, moving over plugins has been a bit easier. I’ve come to rely on aescript’s kbar, the only problem I’ve come across so far is kbar has problems in the overhauled scripting engine, so I’ll be running some other scripts and expressions today to see if anything else we use is problematic.

Has anyone taken the leap? Is it stable / any gotchas?
