Ok, so I was right t= he first time. :)=C2=A0 I should just start rendering using DNxHR.

I am usually rendering from either AE or Premiere.

if you work with Avid facilities it might be an issue if they are o= n an older Avid MC that doesnt support DNxHR yet, and some Avids are kept a= t very old versions for very long.=C2=A0
But it should normally b= e a non-issue and just use DNxHR, its also way easier to figure out what se= tting to use since Avid reduce it as Prores to a few flavors and not keep t= he framerate and dimensions.
most of the flavour are 8bit though = (another Avid legacy issue) so make sure to use the HQX or 444 versions tha= t are 10 or 12bit

DNxHR works with any res.

they work fine on win, OS X. no playback problems, its basically avids ve= r of prores with similar data rates and generational performance.=C2=A0

I=E2=80=99ve used it also as a record format on atomo= s products with excellent results and moved media between PP / AE / Resolve= with out concern or thought.
