So I don't believe there is any direct interaction possib= le between it and the AE 3D space. Things may have changed since the last ti= me I used Element though. I have a very simple Element 3D text and an image set= to 3D, camera on.  I can change the view to top view and clearly pull t= he object ahead of the Element object yet it remains below it.
