I found this older video tutorial that shows some techniques to use tracked masks to drive Warp effects (for digital beauty).

I used to do a lot of morphing (in Elastic Reality days). There is definitely an art to creating good morphs, especially if you are going from one face to another. Playing with offset timings to bring out various features independently is a good way to elevate the effect vs a global dissolve warp type look. Another trick is to use open splines.
- Have fun.

Hey Eric,

Thanks for bringing that to my attention - I’ll make it a point to create one and post it up on the site for one and all.

Have you tried the included help doc, accessible via the ? button in the filter manner in the AE control panel? Might be some good info there.

The basics of it is that in AE you create 3 mask shapes - one each for the source begin, source end and a shape to limit the warp/morph. You can use as many masks as you need to complete the desired result.

Cheers,
Peter.

I didn't want to make a post with two questions, so I have this second one.

I sealed the deal on the Continuum package but I don't see many tutorials on things, the morph one being the first I wanted to try.  The site doesn't have anything and nothing on youtube that I can find.  Anyone use it?

Thanks,
Eric
