I wish there was a usable search function in the OS Import and Open dialog boxes.  Spotlight for OSX sucks, and the Explorer search Iā€™ve used occasionally on my clients' Windows systems seems to take forever (and I must ā€œblameā€ some of that on their 40TB fiber server).  I use EasyFind on Mac for most searching.  You can spec a variety of search items and Boolean operators, or just a folder, and the results can be sorted by name, date, location, file type, etc.  I can drag from EasyFind into all of my apps that allow dragging.

I could really use something like this for Pr, too, and I understand Pr doesnā€™t do scripting.
 
My workaround is to use Default Folder for Mac, and use the Sidebar when Iā€™m on clientsā€™ Macs, and the similar function on Windows.  Navigating file structures can be a pain, especially if I have to keep on doing it several times in a row or in a day.

Are there any plugins or scripts which will allow me to retarget entire groups of assets? It is absurd that after three years the Importer/JPG is still not functioning properly.
