i have also delivered several commercials already with this new Apple certified Prores encoder, and there has been no failures in quality control. 
So big thumbs up to Adobe and Apple for finally doing the correct thing and making Prores truely crossplatform :-)

This is good news. Has anyone tried it out yet? Can you still write ProRes without any Quicktime components installed?
