Fill it out, sure... = which Acrobat DC allows you to do. I just downloaded a W9 and I can fill = it out, sign it, etc.=20 If I go to 'Edit>Edit Text and Images' then I get the LiveCycle message. = Never had to do that. Click on Tools>Fill & Sign and you get everything = you need to fill in a form. Let me know if I=E2=80=99m missing something, but I use Acrobat = constantly to fill in and sign forms, including W9s. If you have CC, = then you have Acrobat Pro, and filling out forms should be easy. Not too mention, I believe InDesign allows you to design PDF forms if = that's what you want to do. Wow. Who knew. No, you can't edit those forms with Acrobat. LiveCycle = was part of an enterprise level product and is not part of the Cloud. = One of the biggest creators of LiveCycle forms was the IRS, which was = till creating forms March of this year. It has been replaced by Adobe = Experiences Manager. All this according to a post on the LiveCycle forum. Just search = something like "edit livecycle with acrobat." This seems odd. Are you sure you didn't open up an old version of = Acrobat by mistake? It seems like Livecycle was bundled with Acrobat X = and removed for Acrobat XI... but XI was discontinued in 2017. I've got Acrobat DC 2019.10.20064, which can edit, and CC doesn't show = any updates available. I would try opening Acrobat DC through the CC dashboard and trying to = edit the file there. It seems likely there's a file association problem = and maybe your new install of Windows has Acrobat XI installed by = default.
