| Good evening everyone and Happy New Year to you all. Â Â Â I'm in the process of eyeing a laptop this year and am doing some research on it. The idea of a good quality tablet/laptop (Microsoft Surface or some of the higher end 2 in 1 rigs) intrigues me because I do like to draw. The lighter weight of the machine also makes it attractive to me as my current beast of a laptop is a 17" monster that clocks in around 9 pounds. Not the best for travel. Â Â Â If a 2 in 1 is worthless for mograph, I would probably be better off with one of those Dell XPS 15 models. I thought I would first check the list to see if anyone has had the opportunity to work on some of the i7 2 in 1 models out there. Â Â Â I've got a Ryzen 2700x for the more heavy lifting at home, I figure if I need more horsepower than that I can use a render farm. Â Â Â - Robert H |
