Thanks for the feedback,

I found an ASUS Flipbook Zen on Costco that really seems to hit all the 
checkmarks for a portable computer. Currently on sale for $999. The HDMI 
will allow me to hook up the 22" monitor I can use for desktop work if 
necessary. I'll try to post the link in a separate email but if memory 
serves, the list server doesn't take kindly to that ;).
