Hi Robert, I am curious to know your calibration device/s. I use a Spyder5 and also see what I regard as a reddish tint.
I used the 27" Dreamcolor Z27X for many months. Over time it drifted
into an overall reddish tint that color calibration does not seem to be
able to correct, which is really weird. I bought the BenQ PV270 and have
been very happy with it ever since. It responds properly to calibration.
The Dreamcolor is now a GUI monitor and all critical color decisions are
made using the PV270.
The HP and BenQ are not on par with the ultra-critical state-of-the-art
Flanders or Eizo monitors; they are bang-for-the-buck monitors that ring
in at less than half the price of the top of the line while still giving
me sufficient confidence in color accuracy to get the job done.
