| There’s no advice here, just an anecdote, and maybe a moral. I recently got about 750 GB of 4K video that included some cops who work in a big port city. Some minion at “big government agency” (think really big) got wind of the cops' involvement and demanded that we upload all our raw footage. Me and my client had a good laugh over that. I transcoded the footage to postage-stamp sized time-code burn H264s, and uploaded those. That seems to have mollified them. The takeaway for me is that the person on the other end didn’t have a clue that what she was requesting wasn’t viable or even reasonable. I charged my client for my time to no complaint. . |
