No wonder people get scammed so much. Outlook desktop and web always shows names on list posts as always has (and I assume always will).

Surely there’s a preference or setting to make that happen. It’s precisely the mechanism used to increase chances of scam/spam/malware emails to work and surprised you can’t turn that on. Shocked actually it’s not on by default.

I use email solely on my iPad and I haven’t seen names on list posts for years. Apple Mail on iOS doesn’t parse that info, it’s just showing ‘AE List’. I endorse signing as well, although after so many years you do begin to get a sense of who is speaking/writing from the tone and personality of the message

I don’t get it. Here’s an Apple Mail Screenshot. I see every name on every post and have for years. 

Not that I think signing is a bad idea.

They used to be, but I use Apple Mail, and the only way I can see a sender who didn’t sign is to Reply to the message.  Then I see what you see at the top of this message.

 

Maybe that’s a new “feature” of Apple Mail.  Not sure.
