Sorry if I was confusing. Here=E2=80=99s my standard use of = DL. 1. Select clips in Pr for Ae treatment and choose =E2=80=9CMake After = Effects Composition.=E2=80=9D 2. Do my voodoo in Ae, and render using RenderGarden. 3. Import rendered files into Pr and replace the DL-ed clip in the = originating Pr Sequence. 4. To make changes, just do them in Ae, and over-write the existing = output file, and it updates in Pr. (Just don=E2=80=99t switch to Pr = while it=E2=80=99s rendering, AND make sure the Pr CTI isn=E2=80=99t on = the clip being re-rendered.) That=E2=80=99s for Ae Comps that take a while to render. A good example = is when I use an Ai file from MapResources that has 20 or 30 layers of = vectors that take a pretty long time to render. I keep some of my DL-ed clips as DL-ed clips in Pr if they=E2=80=99re = the kind that render quickly, such as for name keys.
