- Apple has officially killed all nVidia CUDA support from Mojave onwards. They are essentially sworn enemies. Each company blames the other for lack of support. thats a bit of over statement. its not that apple per se is dropping them, its that the are QT 32bit codecs and QT 32 is going away.  many apps like adobe CC and resolve already have had built in support for quite some time making this a non-issue.

all of that said, its a lot of BS that we as users, in this time and place should not have to deal with. I still haven’t built my production linux box yet… but getting close I think depending on if I can keep my tower running for another year, or in what will never likely happen : apple releases their wildly over due new mac pro and its $2500 nicely configured. an entry price of $5K will pretty much doom it on day one and I hope they are smart enough to realize that. well for that matter even a decently configured machine simply won’t sell at $5K. I think they are getting that with declining iPhone sales especially in markets like China and India where there is much more price point pressure… they are bringing back the iPhone SE for $249 actually but thats for another day.
