Rick, after further testing I see RG does respect "skip existing frames" in the render settings. I have managed to find a workflow that suits me. launch many seeds (so that I won't be left with idle gardeners), but not go overboard with gardeners (1 before my max CPU seems to be enough).

thanks everybody.

Thanks Rick and D that is helpful. I will keep on testing and have asked some questions about certain workflow scenarios to the RG team. will post the answers when I get them.

Hi Roei,

I have a 12 core MacPro 5,1. I often go with 6 seeds and 12 gardeners. A great product that has saved me on many occasions.
