Only PSD. I ended up in the same situation as you a couple weeks ago, with client provided storyboard layouts all done in Illustrator. Ended up purchasing Overlord. From the same dev as Rubber Hose. Did the trick for me. It's got some wonky things that don't quite work as a "magic button" solution. But it does handle the text exactly as I needed. It's an extension instead of a plugin.
