Hello,

For those interested, the cone I was making was for the Artemis Moon Spacecraft and here's a 7 second sample.  I will be separating the module later since the booster would be gone by this time in space.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Md3CE57JSLo&feature=youtu.be

By way of this sample, I have a couple questions.  I did use Blender by the way for the cone but I built this model in Element 3D otherwise (assembled I guess).  I'm having some difficulty saving the model as a preset.  I know the procedure but for some reason it doesn't save ALL components.  Any idea on what could be the solution?

And a second question, probably not much help here but I used to use Sony Vegas to edit and I have a project from 2012 that actually has a feature to export to a premiere file (even saw a youtube video) but for some reason, after exporting the entire thing, it does not produce the actual premiere file like I see in the tutorial.

Incidentally, the old footage I have could prove to be a cool time lapse thing with me nearly 8 years ago and then current.

Appreciate any insight if anyone has some.

What Chris says.
For simple shapes, you may want to use a a vector software like Illustrator and export an eps file for Element.

Learn Blender. Free and easy to learn. Model whatever you like there then export.
