Eric,

Not sure about the Element 3D question as I=E2=80=99= ve never saved an imported model as preset but I believe presets are just f= or the type of item e.g. textures, models, lights etc. I don=E2=80=99t thin= k there is an entire rig =E2=80=9Cpreset=E2=80=9D that I recall off the top of my head.

=C2=A0

I still do my personal editing in Vegas (current Mag= ix Vegas Post Pro V17). They are working hard to get the app back on track = after Sony=E2=80=99s years of neglect and it=E2=80=99s coming along well (i= t=E2=80=99s finally more stable than Premiere).

=C2=A0

You can export Premiere projects but like any transl= ation it=E2=80=99s going to have it=E2=80=99s limited, it=E2=80=99s really = useful for only simple timelines without effects, titles etc. It=E2=80=99s = really just a variation of XML exports.

=C2=A0A film is =E2=80= =93 or should be =E2=80=93 more like music than like fiction. It should be = a progression of moods and feelings. The theme, what=E2=80=99s behind the e= motion, the meaning, all that comes later.

Hello,

=C2=A0

For those interested, the cone I was making was for = the Artemis Moon Spacecraft and here's a 7 second sample.=C2=A0 I will = be separating=C2=A0the module later since the booster would be gone by this= time in space.=C2=A0=C2=A0https://www.youtube.com/= watch?v=3DMd3CE57JSLo&feature=3Dyoutu.be

=C2=A0

By way of this sample, I have a couple questions.=C2= =A0 I did use Blender by the way for the cone but I built this model in Ele= ment 3D otherwise (assembled I guess).=C2=A0 I'm having some difficulty= saving the model as a preset.=C2=A0 I know the procedure but for some reason it doesn't save ALL components.=C2=A0 Any idea on = what could be the solution?

=C2=A0

And a second question, probably not much help here b= ut I used to use Sony Vegas to edit and I have a project from 2012 that act= ually has a feature to export to a premiere=C2=A0file (even saw a youtube v= ideo) but for some reason, after exporting the entire thing, it does not produce the actual premiere file like I see = in the tutorial.

=C2=A0

Incidentally, the old footage I have could prove to = be a cool time lapse thing with me nearly 8 years ago and then current.<= /u>

=C2=A0

Appreciate any insight if anyone has some.=

What Chris says.

For simple shapes, you may want to use a a vector so= ftware like Illustrator and export an eps file for Element.
