There is no doubt that a 1080 or even 1060 will smoke the K2200.
Any of them will make your life much easier in PR or AE.
You can also check out Puget systems website which have specific
AE / Pr benchmarks and comparisons with pc components, CPU, GPU
etc rather than rely on generic spec based ones.

Hey,
My graphics card is getting a bit old and I was thinking about
upgrading it soon.
I understand a CPU upgrade is generally much more important than
GPU, but I was just thinking about getting a 2nd hand card like
GTX 1080 Ti or GTX 1080. I am aware that these are gamer cards,
but test results online indicate that they would still be
much faster than my old Nvidia Quadro K2200.
Here is a comparison website:
I think I can find a 1080 GTX model from 200 and a GTX 1080Ti
from 300-second hand.
Any suggestions on this or even other cards that would make a
big difference, but in a similar price range.
So the question really comes down to: is it even worth
upgrading?
I don't play games so I don't care about how suitable it is for
gaming.
(btw my CPU is Core i7-6700K)
