You bet - I see a "Rate of Fire (Rounds per Second) control - what happens if you just set that the be the same as (or higher than) your comp frame rate?

Nathan,

Thanks and that's an interesting idea.  I do have bang, actually recently used it. Fantastic plugin.  So for this.  Thinking.  To go more than a frame, I suppose just consecutively add Bangs.  If the bangs vary it might actually work.  Otherwise would have to manually vary them which could be tedious but when stitched together...well.  Worth trying.

I haven't actually played with it, but I wonder if the Bang plugin made for muzzle flashes would work?  It's lets you do custom shapes.  If you can set it so the flames don't flash for just 1 frame it might work?  The minigun example they show here looks close if it wasn't flashing:  https://aescripts.com/bang/

Though, looking at the classic Top Gun reference, I'd probably try to just build this with some layers of fractal noise:

Hey everyone, I have just about every plugin on the planet and lots of stock flames and that sort of thing but does anyone have any idea how to either make or find flames that are more like fast moving jet engine flames?

Think, space shuttle engine take off type flames is what I'm after.

Appreciate it.
