| Hey all, Have any of you done any testing on using a PCIe 4.0 NVMe drive as AE Cache, particularly as it would compare to a PCIe 3.0 NVMe cache drive within an After Effects/Premiere environment? Theoretically, AE would be able to write cache files even faster to the PCIe 4.0 disk, but I don’t know how that bears out in real world performance. I’m speccing a 3950X build and pondering this. carey |
