I’m still using Pr 2018. One of my routines to fix problems when deleting prefs or trashing caches and renders don’t work is to uninstall and reinstall the app. That option is no longer available. I can’t find a standalone installer on the Adobe site either. I’m also still using Ae 2018 because of Dynamic Link with Pr. Pr 2018 is the ONLY version of Pr that works reliably on my 2012 MacPro and my 2014 MPB Retina. 2019 was a nightmare, and my trial of 2020 (minimal so far) has been a repeat of the lack of response I’d witnessed in 2019. An Adobe employee on the Pr forum told me I need to buy a newer computer, so I can run the newer versions. Adobe shouldn’t be taking the best builds of their apps off-line, IMO. They shouldn’t be releasing crap and calling it an “upgrade.” The “new features” in Pr 2020 are ludicrous, IMO. . |
