Maybe I can use a shape layer. I’m using Video CoPilot’s Saber which lists solids, masks and text for the source. In this case I have a mask. I can give a shape layer a try.

Thank you,

Jonathan

does it have to be a mask? you can use a wiggle path operator on a shape and it will wiggle a path with lots of controls. you can also use that as an alpha matte or with set matte.

If it must be a mask, you could also write an expression on the mask path that adds some noise to the position of each vertex. But this is a bit of work.

Hey, gang, is it possible to distort – as in waves or mesh warp, etc – the points in a mask? I’d like the mask itself to distort, not the solid.

Many thanks,
