Are you on an really old after effects version? like CS6?
in the last many years there has been a native DNxHR/DNxHD codec option
under the Quicktime container format.

Unfortunately there is still no compressed alpha option in the Adobe native
DNxHR/HD exporter, for that you need the old avid QT provided codec, but im
not sure that at all works with the newest releases of AE anymore since all
support for thirdparty QT codecs was removed.
